Social Problems of our nation are Numerous
some of there are common to humanity at
large, while other have relevance to the
special conditions prevailing in the Indian
society. The social Thinkers and the leaders
of the country are certainly feeling the
need of a large number oriented and trained
personnel to work in different fields of
social work.
Considering the fact there is great dearth
of trained worker, Bhagini Mandal Chopda
started the College of social work at Chopda
in Jalgaon district. The courses have since
been recognised and the college has been
affiliated to the North Maharashtra
University Jalgaon since 1994.
The college which offers programmers of
study of B.S.W. & M. S. W. - degree is committed to
the task of developing civic consciousness
and
a sense of social responsibility in the
students. The Co-curricular activities has a
broad sweep which help the students to
understand themselves and their society. The
Class-room learning is reinforced during
field work where students learn through
first hand experience. The college strived
to provide socially relevant education
whereby it would not only professionals but
